Is this or would this be worth it.

isnt sandstrom a dixon/currys own brand range? in the long run you might be better off spending a bit more for higher quality gear. richer sounds do some good deals on mini system packages

Basically I want like A Good System for bass with out a sub but with the added extra of having the connections to plug one in with good clear sound for me to listen to all types of music and is loud for a respectable price thats it

What for £100?

As said I would get something like a Denon M38 for £150 and then you will need some speakers, maybe look at used ones, should get something for around £50, whether that will give you enough bass I'm not sure but it will be better than that one you linked to.

If you want cheap look for a Denon UD-M30 or 31. You should easily get one with the original Denon (Mission) speakers within budget. Just make sure it's either fully tested or can be returned as they can have problems with the volume controls & CD mechs. The remote is also necessary for some functions IIRC.

But this depends on your definition of loud. It'll go loud enough for normal domestic use but if you want something to rattle the windows student party style, you're probably going to have to up you budget.
