Just phoned up Panasonic and there is no way of telling the hours. Firmware update for HDR is already on my TV apparently. In May the 802 LED and 852 will get the HDR firmware update. All good then.

Just spoke to Nick and he is saying he suspects you need HDR content and it will enable it to work. He is saying the HDR firmware is for other TVs.
