Is the Onkyo 605 150pounds better than the Sony str1200

I have a Pioneer 428, PS3 and intend to set an AV system with Monitor Audio BR2 fronts+ Radius R45 rears + compact sub(eg,MJ Acoustics Pro50)

So do i go for value or the future proof Onkyo

yep go for it i had a pioneer vsx thx amp changed it for onkyo 605 have ps3 and tosh ep-35 , i was lookin at sony amp glad i bought the onkyo.amazing sound you really can tell the difference.
