Is now the time to change amp to 3D

I have just got the Panasonic 50VT20 and wounder if its worth upgrading my amp to use with 3D?

As you will see from my other thread I am also looking to upgrade to a better amp from the Pioneer 919.

However I cant afford to buy a high quality (£1000) 3D amp, so its either upgrade the 919 to the 920 or keep focused on Blu ray and leave 3D for now and buy a higher quality discontinued amp like the Yamaha 2065?

My major problem is my 1.3 HDMi cable is in the wall so I need to go via the amp, its a major job to take it our!!!!

I'd forget about 3D...And focus on Blu-ray and buy a higher quality discounted amp, personally. Replacing equipment with newer models at the same level is money wasted imo.
