Does is really really sound so good? Or is it another crazy japanese product!!

Please help other similar options for less?

I've got a Colorfly C4 and can confirm it is a quality item. Never heard the OPs device so could not compare trhe two.

There is also the Astell & Kern AK100 which is cheaper again as it only has a single DAC (note AK120 highly rated in the other mags)

The HiFi News review really took a dislike to it's looks, I happen to think its great. Novel to say the least and it makes a good conversation piece- real wood indeed who'd have thought it?
It does indeed sound fantastic through a decent set of headphones or better still when connected to my main system.

Last week i receiverd muy Astell & Kern. Bought it for good price and received it used!!! not new in a UK store. |( |( |( |( I´m waiting now for the righr one..
