Is 120 hz worth waiting for ?

Looking to buy a 46 inch tv within the next month but is worth waiting for these super thin 120 hz models coming to us mid 2008 anybody else in the same boat or could whf team tell me what to look out for in the near future. Thanks

My colleagues are on their way back from CES in Las Vegas today, so I'll ask one of them who saw the new 120Hz sets to post a reply once they've recovered from jet-lag!

120Hz only really relevant to NTSC-market TVs - it's effectively double-scanning of the 60Hz used in that system, just as 100Hz is for the 50Hz based PAL TV system here in the UK.
