hello could you please tell me the best dock to connect my ipod touch "christmas pressy" to my onkyo 605, many thanks.

I'd go for the latest Onkyo dock (the imminent DS-A3) - we haven't tested it yet, but all the predecessors have been great value for money; plus you'll be able to control your iPod via the Onkyo's remote. Check you buy the latest model with full iPod Touch compatibility....

Hi there - first ever post!

The few retailers I have spoken to have advised me either "Christmas-time" or Jan 2009 (Which is slightly annoying as I would like it for Christmas!)

Price will be around £90, which is a bit steep considering the current model is almost half this!

There are a few retailers advertising this online and orderable - phone them first to check availability though, as I don't think they actually have it in stock yet
