Upgraded my Touch 64 to OS4 and it seems fine.

Only thing is Cover Flow won't work until you add/remove some music. And wait for about 2 secs before you tilt to use Cover Flow.

Other than that it seems fine.

I installed it on my iphone 3GS. Generally, i like it. But last night, after I'd downloaded a podcast from itunes on my phone, the ipod stopped working. It opens up, then crashes a couple of seconds later. A quick google search revealed others with the same problem, and I think transferring it to iTunes on my computer then back again might work. But it's quite a surprising flaw.

I upgraded my 3GS too and now when I connect it to my car stereo (via integrated dock-connector), when i go to scroll through the artists on the head unit using the scroll wheel it has a delay on it, making it very difficult to choose the artist quickly. Very irritating! Not sure how i go about communicating with Apple to report the issue? When you look at their website they seem to have gone to great lengths to prevent you from communicating with them in such a way that would involve a human having to deal with it!

My iTunes suddenly froze while I was syncing my 3GS, although OS4 had been fine for days. I have tried resets and reinstalls and have now narrowed it down to Music specifically. Everything else is back on my phone now (including photos) but Music just produces the dreaded beach ball :-(

Since upgrading, Safari has crashed a few times and my email has become a bit buggy at times, eg trying to delete a mail but it won't go.

Make sure you do a reset if you've upgraded to iOS4 on a 3G or 3GS (hold "Home" button and power button for 10 secs, ignore power-off slider prompt). If you don't the phone will be very slow as I found out...

Apple have inspired me with their consumer responses with the iP4, now I know just what to say if we get a bad review:

"You were listening to them wrong", if it's good enough for Steve Jobs...
