internet tv for xbox 360

I am trying to set a friend up with IPTV. I have a Sony and subscribe to Love film so I share my viewing time between Love Film, both on line and postal services and streaming tv through BBC i-player and so on.

I am trying to set a friend up with IPTV but am not sure he has many of the same options.

He has the following.

Xbox 360

PANASONIC VIERA 1080P PLASMA TH50PX70B.

MODEM/ROUTER PLUS NET WIRELESS 8B5A1C THOMSON TG585V8

can anyone assist with what options are available to him please?

Hi there,

As far as I'm aware Sky player is the only web tv service available on the Xbox at the moment. You can also stream / download movies using Zune, with the option of HD with 5.1 soundtracks - I can recommend this.

To do all that he'll need to connect the Xbox via ethernet to his router or alternatively buy a wireless dongle (if it's the new slim model it has built in WiFi). He'll also need an Xbox live gold membership, and for Sky Player I think you need to subscribe to Sky.
