Interference on screen

I have a Panasonic 50V20 and recently bought the Sony S570 blu-ray player. I've noticed that there is snow like interference in dark scenes and even on the blu-ray home screen which is also black. I didn't notice this on my old blu-ray the S350. Can anyone think of any possible reasons why this is happening?

I had a similar problem with mine, double checked my hdmi connections & one was not pushed home properly so was picking up interference due to the bad connection. I dont know if this will sort out your problem but it's one possible solution.

I had a similar problem last year, it turned out to be a faulty chord hdmi lead, i sent it back to them and they replaced it straight away with the newer version.
