Hi, peeps

I have a pair of mission 753 freedom's that I love dearly!

They where used as part of my home cinema set up, together with a 75c centre and 751's as rears... Running from a denon avc10se

Amp, and a denon 2910 DVD player, Sony 760 bluray player... Which has been updated to a denon 3312 amp, kef 3005 surround speakers! I want to keep the missions and run it in a stereo setup.... I'm thinking of audiolab 8200cdq and the 8200p power amp.

So my question is would this be a good choice....

I look forward to any advice.

Cliff.

You'll probably get more replies in the 'hi-fi' section.

I used to own 753Fs too and found they needed a good powerful amp to work well. With just an 8000a they sounded harsh and boomy, adding a 8000px or used with some Caspian mono-blocs they sounded much better. I'd also say they need a largish room to sound at their best.

IIRC, audiolab were often recommended for these speakers, so you should be just fine with the 8200p.
