I have a Panasonic TX-26LXD70 tv; picture great, sound okay. It is in a smallish room. How can I improve the sound - soundbar, two or three speakers? What is best for my tv? Novice, so no jargon!

Advice please - thank you.

Welcome to the forum.

Could you please give the members a little more info. For example, your budget, the size of your room, do you prefer full surround or will just stereo be OK, do you want style type speakers and do you want an all in one or separate components and does it need a dock or similar for iPod etc.

I am sure we can point you in the right direction with a little more info.

Thank you for your quick response.

Let's say up to £300; the room is about 4m by 4m with a 2.5m ceiling; stereo will do fine, providing the speech on films etc is well defined; happy with one unit or a few units; no need for a dock.

No, there is no hi-fi in the room - just the tv. So are the options a) an amplifier and two speakers (if so, what ones?) and b) a soundbar and a subwoofer (if so, what ones - the tv is 66cm wide?).

Thanks for your continued help.
