Impressions of Rega RS3

It's probably been asked before but how does the side speaker differ, purely in sonic terms, from a conventional forward firing one?

Its a low frequency driver, so I wouldnt say technically it sounds different to any other Rega driver - It just allows the user to set them up according to room acoustics and preference. Some people prefer them inwards, others outwards depending on proximity of side walls!

I really do think the RS3s look great, not flashy quite minimal in fact which is the opposite to how they sound!
