Ifi Zen v2

Hi all, first post so here we go.

Having trouble with my dac inasmuch I’ve plugged it in to usb>rca>speakers with a Wiim mini streaming but I’m getting no output.

Drivers are current and sound settings are set to Ifi Zen but gettting nothing out at all.

Any ideas please?

I have brand new Argon Fenris A5’s that work perfectly when I stream from the Wiim Mini.

Well, having read that IFI’s well publicized connection issues were a thing of the past I gave them a second try. I bought the ‘sold out’ Zen one signiture. Yet again , it doesn’t work via usb! Drivers don’t install properly, Device doesn’t show up as connected. Sadly also IFI support is as...

Presumably the mini is attached to the dac with an optical cable?
What position is the switch on the back of the Zen set to?

No the zen is plugged into USB and then RCA to the speakers, the Wiim is plugged into another USB on the PC.

Where is the USB plugged into.I use mine into the iMac this way the mac powers the Zen Dac and also covers the sound connections otherwise it's using RCA and power from the wall socket. Thats why they supply both USB and RCA cables and a power lead. I presume that we are talking about the iFi Zen Dac V2 because iFi "Zen" covers a big range including a phono stage.
