I was just curious how many regular posters now post on this website?

There's some lovely filth over 'ere, Dennis.
I have no desire to wield supreme executive power, simply enjoy a democratic debate which has been lacking in my absence.(and I have been watching.)

PS- please switch off my verification grob.

I'm just waiting for someone to work out who's the most frequent poster, by doing a spot of number of posts divided by length of membership maths.
Sure as heck ain't me, 7 years and 1300 posts, hardly setting any records there!!

P.s. I'm still here Gel, not that anyone would notice.

That strange noise you sometimes hear in the walls? The one you put down to mice? It's the secret mod police, creeping through their hidden passages, watching, watching, watching...

Careful you're not getting too obsessed with this website, gel – you'll have TheLHC accusing you of being a borderline nutter or having mental health problems (but only because he's concerned, of course)

*biggrin* *wacko*

Welcome back, RGD! 🙂

Cheers BB.I wasn't particularly "away", just letting things settle down. I was seriously gobsmacked at the reaction to the website change and the vitriol launched at the change. The "I want something for nothing" mentality really shone through and I have to say the frontline people at the site must have gone home spitting blood and wondering whether they want this for a living and I salute Andy Clough for putting himself in the firing line with dignity and patience.

I hope some of the extreme critics look back on their comments and have some regrets otherwise they should just f*** off.

Even some of the most respected/intelligent posters had a real bee in their bonnet and failed to recognise that investment is related to profitability. In PLC's you have to get in the queue.WHF is a small community and you have to accept that it is not going to receive massive resources .I also never realised how many website experts we had on this forum.Funny what you can learn from a distance.

Have a nice evening everybody.

He doesn't like swearing, even if the offending word isn't written in full.

Although I'm only a year active as a forum member, I'm a longtime reader of both the magazine and this board. I grew up as a kid with WHF magazine always associated with Hi-Fi here where I live. Every Hi-Fi store and few music stores sold or just kept a fresh copy. I still remember some of my first 90's Tannoy + Marantz crushes, endlessly flipping through the mag, imagining how brilliant the beautifully photographed and reviwed gear would sound in my room.

Agreed: this constant recourse to swearing is very tiresome.

I forgot to mention that he's also a comedic genius.
