I want to show off my new room/system

since Flickr changed I havent been able to post pics in my post on this forum.

Ive tried a few times over last few days. anyway, we moved house 2 years ago. my avis have been on 2nd hand grey partingtons in the dining room behind the table. for want of a better place to have them. Finally we have finished the living room. lot of work. wall knocked down. door bricked up. re wired. radiator moved. sky cable and phone cable moved. leads trunked into wall. plastered and painted.

Well. Ive worked out how to insert the photos.

its the system for the chap thats not allowed a 'system'. if anyone wonders waht they are looking at. I tend to agree. it is underwhelming in photos. but very asy to keep clean LOL

Explain the setup?

Is it soundbar for TV and movies, active speakers at rear with wireless connectivitiy for music?

Hello Anderson. It's a rectangular thru room. We were at pains to make it flow as one room. But due to the shape each end has its own use. There's now a sofa and 2 wing backs fAcing the fire. The speakers are my avi 9.1s fed by a squeezebox duet. All my music is on a PC that lives upstairs in a room that we laughingly refer to as the office. Nowadays the duet controller is in its box and I control the music with an iPad using squeezepad or an old iPhone using iPeng.

the tv is a 55 inch samsung with matching samsung soundbar. Sony bluray and sky plus box are in the cabinet. The soundbar came with a wireless sub.

I will take some more pics tomorrow of the whole room.
