I want bluray but need a speaker system too, help!!!

I have a samsung 26inch tv but the speakers are not brill and want to upgrade. I was going to get a dvd home theatre kit with upscaling, but i want a bluray player is there any way i can connect the two or do i have to get amp and speakers for the bluray? I was going to spend about 170 for bluray, so just a good budget system. Any suggestions thx.

A blu ray player on a 26 inch screen is frankly, in my opinion, a waste of money.

well im going to upgrade my screen later on. But just want a better sound at the min. The theatre i was looking at was the samsung ht-z310r. But then was tempted by the cursed bluray, trying to part me with more money.
