I need help on a multi function hifi

I am upgrading my kitchen stereo and I am looking for a hifi which will play cds, has ipod compatibility and a radio function.

I dont want to spend too much, but i would still like a good sound (if possible at lower prices)

Any help and suggestions would be fantastic

I would like to spend around £200 to £300 and preferably separate speakers, but that isn't a major issue

Do you want a hi-fi with separate speakers, or an all-in-one?

My Dad has a Roberts unit, I can't recall the model, but it didn't cost the earth and the sound is reasonable. It has a dock, DAB tuner, CD and speakers all in one fairly small unit. Perfect for a kitchen or study.

Denon DM38DAB for 200 quid from Richer Sounds, plus however much you have left on a half decent pair of speakers (Q Acoustics 1010i from the same place would seem a good fifty-quid bet for me).

There's quite a few good deals about if you buy the Denon DM38 with a pair of speakers.
HiFix have quite a few combinations on their website at what seem very reasonable prices to me.
