I am having issues using a coaxial cable between my marantz cd6006 uk edition cd player and my Edifier bookshelf speakers (American specs).

When I pause or skip or swap cds, the sound ceases to come through the coaxial cable to the speakers. It seems as if they get off-sync or out of time and no sound passes through whenever I pause/skip/swap cds and hit play again. Any help for a non-tech savvy person trying to understand this issue would be much appreciated! Thanks!

When the signal stops do the speakers automatically change to a different input? Bluetooth for example?

What do you have to do to get the sound playing again?
