To be fair, I spent about 30 minutes looking for an answer to this the other day and found nothing except this post on this very site where someone posted an answer to the very same question from yourself a few days ago saying it was due in Europe in August.

I've found nothing to back this up, but not sure what else you want when Sony themselves aren't telling anyone anything...

As I've said before, we have received no information to suggest that this product is going to be launched in the UK (I work for a Sony dealer). There are several other home theatre products chalked for release over the coming weeks, but this item has not yet been covered in any of the pre-release information we have received.

dont understand sonythey lose 14 milllion in 1 year but wont sell to people who want to buy

i was looking for the ht-ct100 but this is not released in uk

now the 500 isnt even on the list

any way until sony get round to looking for customers i need something that will give me a bit of bass full sorround is not important thats why i wanted this speaker bar sub setup

any ideas

oh yeah £300 - £350 max

sony w series tv/ps3/v+ box all need to be connected hdmi if possableÿ

Decisions have to be made about what products are most suitable for the UK market. No territory in the world has every Sony product.

Besides, there is still time for it to be announced for UK launch. I am simply saying that, at this point, we've received no information to that effect. If I do I will let you know. Next time I speak to the appropriate person I will enquire about it for you.

And, for the record, I feel no need to shake my head. I am very happy with my job.

as you can see ive a sony tv and a ps3 i want this speaker bar to complete my humble home entertainment setupÿ

but you dont make the decisions thats all im refering to if they had decided to release the 100 i would of bought it
