Hello,

I am downsizing and updating. Richer Sounds can’t quote for older stuff, so how do I go about selling, please? Some of it may be worthless, but I see ebay has similar stuff ….is that the best way?

Marantz PM7200 integrated amp (circa 2002), Marantz CD6000ose (also early 20’s) and Rogers LS8a floorstanding speakers from early/mid 90’s. Project Debut 2 turntable for example.

Thanks for any help offered

I think ebay is now free to sell so thats good, also check a site called hi-fi shark and if you are on face book check if there are groups for those three manufactures that allow selling, you might get a better price on those.

To an extent it will depend on how pressing the need to sell is.

If you're in no rush, then Gumtree is decent - free, no selling fees and it's easy to monitor and adjust your selling prices.

I've sold guitars and Hi-Fi stuff on there recently and have stipulated that I want cash on collection only, so it has made the selling process very lazy and very simple. Digital footfall is lower than eBay or a wider set of criteria, but if time isn't of the essence, it's a nice, passive option.
