Didn't find it in the manual or online.

Tried leaving the amp unplugged for half an hour, didn't resolve the issue.

Not sure what else to try?

Thanks!

I'm not sure if you've tried restoring the defaults or if this helps.
Maybe it's the same procedure with yours.

Thank you very much for the help, though products you linked aren't the amplifier I'm looking to reset, so the buttons and guidance don't line up.

On this nv-p2100 the only button is for power, and there is no pin-hole or fuse or any other obvious way to reset it.

Do you know why it went into protection mode?

I'm assuming you've checked for shorts and also I see a fuse via an online diagram have you checked it?
Its near the AC power cord port (although I'd think it wouldn't power on at all if it was blown)

Some amps and appliances only come out of protection mode automatically themselves when a fault is rectified and visa versa stay in protection mode when a fault still exists.

It went into protection mode during a big electrical storm.

So far I haven't checked anything internally, just checked the manual for reset process and now asking here for clues.

With nothing apparently doable from the outside (no buttons or pinholes or fuses), is it time to open it up and look there?

Thanks so much!
