I've just moved into a new home & am setting up my Wharfedale speakers & seem to have forgotten which speaker posts to use (I am not bi-wiring or bi-amping). I have the Evo 8's for mains & the matching Evo Centre speaker.
I can't find any Wharfedale instructions that shipped with the speakers & there's nothing online at Wharfedale's website for the first generation Evo speakers. I did manage to find this online via a Google search but cannot confirm whether it is correct or not:
Wharfedale Evo (Series 1):
However, this is how Wharfedale reccommnds connecting the new Evo Series 2 (Evo 2):
Could the newer Evo 2 series be different enough to warrant a new wiring scheme or is one of these a misprint? What makes things even stranger is that the Evo Series 1 centre speaker is shown to use the same scheme (Bass- & HF+) as the Evo 2 speakers.....
Does it even matter which pair of posts I use (HF+/- & Bass+/-)?
Cheers,
RJ
