This question may be a no brainer for some but for me it's been a struggle and I can't find any answers online.
Strictly speaking I just bought Denon X2000 AV receiver and have only 2 floorstanding speakers to connect to it. Now, should they go into forward, surround or maybe other ports? Does it make any difference at all?
At the time they are plugged into "front" ports and all sound great but not sure what is the correct way of doing it with 7.1 AV receivers. Would 2 speakers pick up a full range of sound (as not all ports are being used)?
