Hi,
I am about to buy an AV amp with
pre-outs, hooked up to my stereo amp. So i want my av amp to handle 5.1
/ tv / movies, and my stereo amp to handle music (from my sqeezebox). What is
the best way to hook the dac up to my amps? I want my sky+ box and PS3 plugged
into the dac then into my av amp, and the sqeezebox music
streaming device i want plugged into the dac then to my stereo amp.
Basically the Beresford DAC has 2 anaolgue outs, "line out" and "varibale out" - with variable you can adjust the volume on the dac (which would be a useless feature in this case). Would I need to hook up my dac to my av amp with the dac's line out,
and hook up the dac to my stereo amp with my dac's variable out? Or
would it be best having it hooked up the opposite way? Does it even matter!
Of course i'll have a listen and see what i think when the AV amp comes but just wanted to hear your feedback?
Cheers
Simon
