Dear Reader,

I am Trying to bi-amp my Jamo s 606 to my Onkyo 576 receiver. However the following problem arises, and I quote from my Onkyo manual :

For bi-amping, the FRONT L/R terminal posts connect to the front speakers’ tweeter terminals. And the
SURR BACK L/R terminal posts connect to the front speakers’ woofer terminals.

Follow the written instructions. The terminal block on the speakers should have labels for woofer/tweeter or high/low, if not check the owner's manual for the speakers.

My Jamo’s only have a “+” and a “–“ sign on both terminals,so which ones are for the tweeters and for the woofers ?

Awaiting your advice,

Kind Regards,

On the Jamos, the upper pair of terminals are for the HF, or treble, and the lower ones for the LF or bass.

AFAIK it doesn't actually matter which amp channel connects to which terminal in a biamp configuration with the Onkyo - just make sure one set of terminals is connected to one amp channel.

In other words ensure that, for example, the HF terminals aren't connected to the '+' output from one channel and the '-' of another.
