How to attach B&W 685 front speakers to Partington Dreadnoughts

Silly Question time!

Just received a pair of super dreadnought stands for my 685s, and wanted to ask for suggestions of best way of fixing the speakers to stands.

Any views??

Big blobs of Blu-Tac. Cheap and very effective!!

Or you can buy toppers direct from Partington to place the speakers onto.

Mine aren't fixed at all. My speakers just sit on the top spikes. I'm a clumsy git, and have yet to break anything in over 6 years of owning them!

Please don't take this as the official Bowers & Wilkins line on this topic, but I've always found Blu-Tac to be my affordable friend with pretty much any speakers I've owned.
