How much to better denon dab 37

hi everyone just got denon 37 for my son and think it sounds pretty good, iam now looking to buy stereo system for myself and wanted to know how much i would need to spend to get a marked improvment in sound, thanks

This depends of course on which speakers you have but I would say about £600.That would be for an amp and a CD-player. Don't know if you need a tuner, if so an extra £100 would do the trick.

i think you could halve that £600 budget, with one of the richer sounds "seperates system" deals atm, and still get a better sound than the denon

Thanks, speakers are eltax monitor111 which are not expensive, i was thinking of nad cd and amp (about £400 for both) mezzo 2 speakers, do you think this would be a good improvment.

hi daveh , just seen you got some Roksan 111 kit , is it as good as the reviews say, i might wait a bit and get them both( cd/ amp) or really go mad and get k2, but i will have to sneak them in the house,
