OK, on rcommendation of the mag I purchased the Panasonic TH42PX70, it's been grat, I adore it, no problems.
Last night I got to watching a DVD (upscaled nicely via my PS3) but ended up falling asleep before it finished. I awake up 4 hours later and the DVD is replaying the DVD Menu over and over again and the menu has a static image. So imagine my horror when I turn off the PS3 I can still see the outline of this image in the screen! Nooooooooooooooo! I decide to sleep on it and see if it's still there in the morning and it was (albeit very faint), I was bicking it at this point, however having watched some TV for a few hours I can no longer see it so I hope it's somehow faded away.
I would have thought that 4 hours was a short time for burn to occur, especially on such a modern model. What's the theory on this folks?
