I was at a friends he was showing me his new sony lcd & panasonic blu-ray player that was connected by a highly rated hdmi cable he paid £50 for. His house mate said that he bet we would'nt see the differance if we used his hdmi cable from his set up that he paid £20 for. so we tested them both out & we really could'nt see much of a differance, it got us talking are a lot of cables a waist of money we agreed you can get a bad cable, i do find analogue cables can bring there signature into a sound but if you get a cable that works well no matter the cost spending shed loads more on cables are not going to bring massive gains. what do you think?

Search the forum. There are lots of threads on this. You will find that opinion is somewhat polarised.

Analogue cables make all the difference.

Digital cables- bone of contention, but avoid using cheap & nasty.

That's my two penneth. Now let's hear no more about this.
