I am looking to biwire my speakers but when i am ordering the speaker cable i am asked if i want to terminate the ends 2 to 4 or 4 to 4. Am i right in thinking that if i use the 4 to 4 this would be biwiring my amp?
Both 2 to 4 and 4 to 4 are biwiring. 2 to 4 just needs one set of terminals on the amp, while 4 to 4 requires two sets of terminals (eg speaker A and B outputs).
I'd go 2 to 4, in which the two positive connectors are commoned (ie connected into one plug) at the amp end, and the same for the two negative connectors.
