How do I set up PS3 for best output

Can anyone point me in the direction of a god set of instructions to set my PS3 up for best DVD/Blu-Ray playback - I am after all the video settings (fps, etc.) to get the best picture quality on a 42" Pioneer Kuro plasma.

Hi,

Firstly leave console on 'non RGB' setting in the pop up options menu. Converting signal to RGB will drive lag. Then simply use a 'THX' set up disc ( any Star Wars DVD for example).

Maybe its my imagination but my the BD perfromance on my PS3 has really improved since launch.
