Well, my 'apple in-ear headphones with mic and remote' are heavily worn out now and started to loose sound on one side today (I think I am sure it is not my ear []), so it looks like I may have to buy a new pair soon.
Thinking about it, the new ones need to be:
- in ear type
- must have high quality sound (worth playing lossless files), possibly more than one driver
- must have ipod controls built in
- budget up to abt 300 quid (but flexible)
OK, I can dig the internet up and find some models that fit the spec, but how do I choose one for sound? With HIFI you get a demo with a dealer. How do you choose an in-ear headphone???
for example, from a guide: .......... The sound is very balanced, and sits somewhere between the powerful bass response of the Sennheiser IE8 and the clarity and accuracy of the Shure SE530.........
How do i find how powerful is "powerful"? is it enough for me or too much? How do I compare which one suits me?
No returns (or demos!) on in-ear headphones, I understand...
