It's a flagship model, do you expect it to cost £500? Few TV manufacturers have ceased operations as they were making huge losses. Pioneer was losing £1500 on every Kuro it sold for £2500.

I am most grateful to all the early buyers of the TV which I now own.

They early buyers and after are what's helped to bring said TV down so much in price, so Thank-You folks, gratitude.

Sill sad that such costly TV's a few years after first release can be bought for a quarter of their origional price, imo.

I just thought that like old metal (cars) that older TV's were sold much cheaper a few years later as the dealers need to make space for the newer models ?
