I am now very happy to enjoy my hc. Maybe our 'good' combo's will help others?

Yamaha 2065, Mordaunt Short 8, 1, 5, 9. Sony BD 670.

Very pleased with ours also, maybe a new amp in a while, but overall very pleased.

Yamaha 2700, KEF R 500, 600C, T301 and Sony BD 790

Plus other stuff.

Yeah, I think it's a good idea to see what's working well together.

Speakers: Tannoy Arena (later package with TS300 sub)

Amp: Denon 1911

Projector: Epson EH-TW3500

BluRay: Samsung BD C6900

Been very happy with it. Great pcitures and sound. The Denon was acquired as part of a settlement for a broken just out of warranty Marantz 6001, and I thought I'd fairly quicky replace it with something more expensive. However it's been very good for both films and music, probably better than the previous Marantz, (but doesn't look as nice). Slightly less rich, but tighter bass and slightly more detail.

I'm extremely happy with mine now for music and movies. Precise and invisible. The only thing I might try is an Antimode Dual Core EQ for the subwoofer to see if I can improve on what I'm getting already.

Mitsubishi HC7000 projector

Sony BDP5000ES and Panasonic DMP-BD60 (multi-region) Bluray players

Audiolab 8200AP pre-processor

Rotel RMB1575 power amp

KEF LS50 speakers (five all round)

Ken Kreisel DXD12012 subwoofer

I am pleased with my AV system -

Yamaha BD-S1900 Blu Ray player

Chord Electronics DSP8000 Audio Video processor

ATC SCM100ASL active Professional monitors (front L & R)

ATC C3CA active centre monitor

ATC SCM50ASL active Professional monitors (rear L & R)

ATC C6 - SCM0.1/15 active sub

A super clean, stable and near seamless soundfield which (with the aid of the components high resolution and massive power reserves) also reproduces an extremely hard hitting dynamic, tight, powerful sound in an uncoloured and natural manner.

ATC active multichannel monitoring :)

Thanks

May I ask where you got that wonderful cabinet from?

Many thanks

Hi Ben

Yeah sure, I got if from Next home furniture sale about 3 months ago for £60 reduced from £120 I think. Looking on their website now they have a similar one here:

http://www.next.co.uk/x50920s2#391265x50

If you click on it, you can see inside. On the one on the left page.

I am very happy with mine. I think they might come in different finishes too, mine was available in oak and black finish.

Cheers.
