hi all, i am planning on burying all the cables in the wall that run up the tv and need some advice on which cables i need to run up to the tv so i am able to play all the inputs from the following setup through the pioneer av receiver and surround sound speaker setup:

tv.
playstation 3
sky tv

apart from the obvious aerial to tv, scart to sky box, hdmi to av receiver what else would i need to run?

any help much appreciated

Is it worth running any extra cables down in case you buy anything new you want to hook up? e.g. how many Scart / Component / HDMI inputs does your TV have? Is it worth running a spare of each down (if the TV has the extra sockets to plug in of course) just in case?

Assuming the PS3 is hooked into the Pioneer AV receiver with HDMI and this can accept both picture and the audio, shouldn't be anything you need to run between the PS3 and the TV.
As for spare cables, it really is up to you - you don't need to run anything as it's a spare connection. However, it makes sense to run maybe an extra Scart socket or such down to where all your other AV equipment is in case you ever need to attach another Scart device in the future...
