I have a Sony 40NX703N TV; Sony BDP-S570 Blu-ray player, Sky+HD, Sony STR-DA1200ES Receiver & KEF speakers.

Absolutely yes. I recently had this along with a Denon AVR-1910 and AVR-2310 and I liked the Sony best.

It would be a natural choice of upgrade for you, going from the STR-DA1200ES.

I used to have Acoustic Energy floor standers but I relented when my wife got fed up looking at them. They were quite big & not very good to live with in the lounge.

Then, yes, the upgrade is worth it......

If you had had the KEF KHT1005 style package, I'd have said no to upgrade idea, that's all.....
