Dont have a lot of cash but looking to upgrade.i have a panasonic ex 77 dvd player and a set of KEF Q50's. Am looking for an AV amp(£600 ish) which is good with music(particularly heavy rock AC/DC Metalica etc) and will work well with the kuro 42" i'm about to buy also a good speaker package(£500-800 ish)

Onkyo and Denon seem to be the best at around that price, although you could look 2nd hand at Arcam.

Have been offered an ARCAM DiVA AVR 300 for 600 notes new. how good is it and what does it lack .
