Hi all.

Here is my setup after recent redecoration. I made two new purchases during the process. The first was the whafedale sub which is a massive improvement from the fairly cheap Sony one that I had for several years. The second was to upgrade the speaker cable to the Cambridge Audio Ultra 100 which once again has made a significant improvement. I use my system for equal amounts of music and movies and have a reasonable collection of Blurays and SACD's (mainly classical).

That looks warm and cozy. Do u have any problem with the bass having the speakers very near to the wall?

Hi.

Yes it is thanks. Also much more preferable watching movies than the local multiplex.

I had the speakers further away from the wall before and it seems to have made very little difference.

Its all about maximising the space! I have also become an expert in hiding cables and wires with strategic placement of furniture, soft toys etc!
