basically I wanted something with a tuner.just tried the 3390 tuner connected to the Ax-397 yamaha amp.Cant believe the difference in sound.thesound of the tuner on my old homecinema (all-in-one-system) is rubish compared to the tuner on the 3390.is has pre-out and main-in

sounds so good!

just bought a hk3490 this week and this also sounds good, with the added bonus of digital inputs,

the remote control is ridiculously big, and scratches so easily..

have 3 to choose.Tangent Millenium 200(not so good on hifi), Yamaha Ns-333, and some sony speakers (sizewise like the RX-2)that came with an older hifi.Tried with ti all of them.the sony speakers have the edge.good bass, not to detailed like the yamaha.will keep them connected to the sony speakers.

Ive heard a lot of speakers.my prefered I guess are the IQ30.but these yamahas sounded a little like those, and I bought them with a pack (ns-333+ ax-397). the HK is so balanced I guess it goes well with all speakers
