burhan:Hi'

Any chance we will see reviews of TEAC Esoteric cd X-05,MOON CD5.3 RS and i5.3 RS amp and KRELL S300i amp. Have you tried online reviews elsewhere in the interim?

For Krell reviews and the like, your best bet would be the American HiFi mags (available in some specialist news agents in London, but hard to find). 'What HIFI' and HFC focus largely on just a few brands of affordable, locally made kit and only occasionally cover foreign hi-end. There are a couple of higher end UK mags which will cover that stuff properly, but generally several months (or even a year or two!), after the equipment goes on the market.

Looking at this month's copy alone, "affordable" is a moot point. Even taking away the "Temptations" kit, there's some pricey stuff in there.

Once upon a time, maybe that could have been a fair point, at least in part, but when your CD player of choice today is clocking in at £800 (Cyrus 6SE) that's hardly Alba price territory!

There's also plenty of sub-£100 products - I am tragic enough to keep an eye on the averages

It doesn't help that Krell's website is truly horrid, and they remove/replace new product news at whim.

Correction, they have product info for the S300i, but none for the Papa Dock even though they have a big splash for its review on the home page!
