Currently in a dilema re the hifi stand I've got (taking up too much room currently - a little too deep and wide). Ideally I'd like 3 shelves but will look @ 4 Can anyone suggest a new rack that's big enough to have my NAD amp and current CDP on (but could also be upgrading to the Rega Apollo so needs to have a shelf tall enough to allow for a top-loader) Budget ideally less than £200 and will look @ 2nd hand [🙂] Cheers

Apollo will make the Soprano or Mezzo sands to whatever dimensions you like. This may cost a little more, but means you get the size you want.

If you're near me, I have one unused upstairs - four shelf, good build, wooden shelves, aluminum corner legs, very sturdy. Don't know the brand, but bought it from Richer Sounds who were getting shot of it. Best guess about £250 new? Nice item, near mint nick.

Failing that, you've always got Gumtree!

how about an lcd rack instead of the hi-fi rack, i have a good supplier near me STAND AND DELIVER.CO.UK they were very good indead and they also have a showroom near me so it was good to view the stand before buying, I believe they also offer free delivery, I bought this rack

it is very solid and weighs over 60kg, its also very wife friendly, my mrs loved the gloss black ( piano black ) sides and the black glass top, the 2 other glass shelves are clear which gives the illustion that your equiptment is floating, I think this rack would look stunning with your RX6's dan,

A smidgin over budget but well worth it!

If its not for you stand and deliver have a fantastic selection and great customer service.

Unfortunately the TV stand we've got currently is one I had made out of light oak and it has a drawer underneath tol hold 100 DVD's so it cant be replaced or I'll have nowhere for the DVD's

d_a_n, my stand is brilliant for the money. Even brand new the Midi comes around your budget.
