Not a good idea IMHO.
In roundabout terms:
If you wire the speakers in seires (consloe + terminal to speaker 1 + terminal, speaker 1 - terminal to speaker 2 + terminal, speaker 2 - terminal to console - terminal) you'll double the impedance load on the amplifier, meaning you'll only draw half the current for a given voltage, meaning less sound overall.
On the other hand, if you wire the speakers in parallel (individual speaker wires from the console + and - terminals to each speaker + and -, you'll half the impedance, meaning for a given voltage, the speakers will draw twice the current, meaning you'll fry your amplifier.
If your console doesn't have speaker A and speaker B outlets, like some Technics do for example, you'll either get very little sound or cook your amplifier.
If your console has separate Tape Out outlets, you can run RCA cables to a second amplifier and use that either to power the speakers in the second room, or if you have a dual speaker outlet amp like some of the Technics models of old, to run both sets of speakers.
