Hi guys,

I have had my system for about 5yrs now and I an thinking of changing things.

Yamaha CDX486 CD Player, Yamaha AX386 Amp, Celestion F20 Speakers, and a Sony Dav-sa30 home movie system.

My listening room (lounge) is about 28m Sq. Now the thing is, I am looking for a system that would play decent music and the DVD should be great, possibly and all in one system, without breaking the bank. I predominantly listen to Jazz, funk and blues. I have a budget of about £750 that could strech to £1000. I will also consider separates if I can keep it within the budget. Space is not the problem, but a neat solution would be prefered, mostly because of kids.

Thanks

Thanks, but what can I pair these up with, suggested AV Amp and speakers?

I think they about £1500, but are they relaible.

Also would it be better to get the Sony Dav IS10, and then got for a semi-budget audio system? Considering that I am trying to keep things tidy. I want a solution that would keep everyone happy, such as no bits and pieces, cables here and there, wonderful audio output and within a £1000 budget. I listen to jazz and throw the odd 20-30 people party from time to time. So I would require a room filler somewhat (27mSq).

Thanks
