If you haven't already, you should check out 'Animals As Leaders - Animals As Leaders'.

It's instrumental prog metal. A good mix of both styles. Nothing too heavy mind.

The guitarist is a fella called Tosin Abasi, he plays an 8 string guitar and he's astoundingly good (some good clips on Youtube). 'Animals As Leaders' is basically his solo project.

The more I listen to it, the more I like it. I'm sure it'd be right up your street.

Cheers Chris, Animals as Leaders downloading, slowly. Tomorrow night I go to see my first Scandinavian prog rock bands live. Denmark's Efterklang and Slaraffenland in a double header, can't wait.

Ha! Thanks for the congrats, but no. It'll be 8 years come August.
