Thanks guys, I think I might try and get a demo of the linn, as there are one or two dealers not too far away from me (Newcastle/Northumberland area) - I'll let you know how I get on. I think I may consider a s/h x-power to give me a bigger sound, and sort some panels out too!

I'm assuming that I could cobble together my own panels, using a wooden frame, high density rockwool, and some fabric over the top, or am I asking for trouble?

Thanks for all the help - I'm sure that my original £500 budget will grow...

Oh - Just one more question - Would I use my laptop as a 'server' for the sneaky DS? Or phone (android)?

Laptop works great. You can also 'songcast' music from an iPhone (works exactly like AirPlay) to the sneaky. This is the only way to get spotify etc through the sneaky as it stands.
