Help with setting up Denon 2310.

I can't seem to get the Denon setup screen on my new TV. When I press the setup button nothing appears on the screen so I can't set my amp up properly. Any ideas please?

Start with the obvious.

Not meant to sound patronising but are you sure you have connected the Denon correctly to your tv?

Are you getting picture and audio from the Denon to the tv and its only the setup screen that isn't coming up?

By the way, if its the same remote as the 1910 then the setup menu is found by pressing the "menu" button not the "search setup" button.

Right got that sorted eventually. My next problem is when I just ran the auto set-up with the mic the sub didn't make any sound although it was plugged in and switched on! Does it really matter that a test tone wasn't sent from the sub to the mic?

Yes, the sub needs to make a noise, if it has a volume button turn it up.

The sub doesn't have a volume control, the KEF logo is glowing red which I think is standby it should be blue when it's on but how do I get it out of standby?

The only thing i can suggest is to check all your connections & run the audessey again.

I know on my set up, if the audessey doesn't detect the sub it won't work & remains on standby.

Sorted. My sub has a choice of 2 settings manual or auto. On the auto setting the sub puts itslef into standy when it isn't in use. Now I have switched it to manual it stays on and sends the test noise to the mic. Got there in the end
