I have been slowly building up my system over about 7 years and I am almost there! All I need are some rear speakers to go with the following

Marantz SR7200/N2B amp

B&W LCR60 S3 centre speaker

B&W BM601 S3 front surround speakers

radius 360 sub

Originally I was going to use the BM601 as the rears and treat myself to some B&W floor standers for the fronts, but there is no way I can fit the BM601 in as rear speakers. I have read that you should not mix and match different speakers, but I don't really have a choice. Any suggestions or has anyone else had this kind of problem.

I have looked at these two

Mission M cube satellite speaker

Keff HTS2001.3

Looking forward to some opinions

If home cinema is your priority different rears are fine.I use M&K K4 Tripoles at the rear with PMC front and centre. The M&K's have a very small footprint and do a great job with rear channel effects. If you are into surround sound music (SACD or DVD audio) then matching speakers are necessary to give you the same tonality throughout.Obviously if you can try at home you can make the best decision for your set up.Good luck!

Hmm, well I would still try and stick to the same manufacturer - what's wrong with the B&W M1s?

Whichever you choose, I would really recommend trying them out before you buy. I have the M1s as my rears and auditioned them with the 685s as fronts plus HTM62 centre - this works well, but you really should have a listen first to ensure it sounds right when sounds pass from front to back (and vice versa of course).

I agree with professorhats idea or you could try B&W 686s as rears as you can hang them on the wall or B&W DS3s if you have the money They fit flat on the wall. But try and get a listen first.
