Help!! Too much choice not enough knowledge

Can anyone help me? My budget is £600.I thought i had settled on a tv,a Samsung37A 5series,however i have just found online,the Tosh' 37XV505 for £529.It seems too good an opportunity to miss.I am also hearing a lot about the Pansonics however,i have not heard of a comparison to these sets.Can anyone help me with any recommendations or the value of purchasing any of these sets?
