Help to connect REL sub to amplifier

I would like to connect a REL S5 sub to my 8300A amplifier, but I am all new to the subwoofer world, so could use some help

I can see in the manual that I need to connect the neutrik cable to my speaker terminals. But where exactly should the spade plug be connected on the terminals? Is it ok that they touch the banana plugs of my speaker cable? If anyone has a video or clear pictures of how it is done, it will be much appreciated.

Don't you just connect the preamp out of the amp to the low level inputs of the sub with an RCA pair?

That would be the neatest solution.

Alternatively use the second set of speaker terminals for the S5 and select both sets.
